Star Performer!!!

We have a star performer in our midst! Claire sold the most Girl Scout cookies in her troop!! At this point she has sold a total of 275 boxes!! She is hoping for to reach 350 which she just might do during booth sales. She gets 1/2 of all the boxes sold while she is working the booth. She was very excited to be the #1 seller and received a special pin for her Brownie vest. I'm not really looking forward to delivering 275 boxes but am very proud of her. I can't talk about cookie sales without acknowleding Aunt Carli's hard work as a proxy salesperson! She helped Claire sale MANY boxes. Thanks to Aunt Carli!

Valentine's Sleepover!!

We are fortunate to have some great singles at church that like to throw a Valentine sleepover every year for the kiddos. They do this to give the parents a night alone for free!! Claire and Chase are the only ones in our family old enough to stay the night (you have to be in 1st grade!). Chad is thinking he wants to stay and play for awhile tonight and then come home. We received the bad news that the girls party was cancelled because the hostess has the flu!! Claire was disappointed, but understood. Chase is going and it will be a fun night for him. So in honor of his being away from home, I will post pictures of him!

UPDATE!!! The boys sleepover was evidently cancelled as well. The men hosting it just didn't think to tell everyone!

Happy Valentines Day!

I have only one true Valentine! I have had this same Valentine for 17 years which seems impossible. We haven't always shined on Valentines but I have never doubted our love for each other. I'm so thankful for him and love him so much more today than I did on our first balloon tied to socks stuffed with a Snickers bar eating dinner from a limited menu and a buy one get one free dinner coupon Valentines day!

Today it's Cody!

I thought today I would share some pictures of Cody. He's really growing up so fast right now. Well growing might be a strong word - maybe maturing is a better option! Today he was filling out his Valentine's for his friends and was writing his name by himself. Seems impossible that he's able to do that already. He will be 4 next month - another impossible fact. Cody is a very sweet, fiesty, fun, mouthy boy! I love this time I have with him. He always makes us laugh except when he doesn't!

Chad opened his mouth and influenza!

I know - it's a bad joke!! Nevertheless, it's true. Little Chad started with a fever on Thursday night and is still going strong! I took him today and the tests came back positive for flu. He's the best little patient - he never cries or fights the doctors off when they are doing yucky things to him! It may have had something to do with the Spiderman toy he was promised if he was very brave! Please pray for us that it doesn't spread like it did last year - I'm too busy to get the flu!

Chase v. Chad

Some of you have already heard this tale of two brothers but I thought I would share it here as well for everyone else!

The other night the boys and I were doing a deep clean of their room. I had told all the boys to put there shoes on their shelves in the closet. I was in their room working and heard Chase telling Chad he wasn't doing it right and that he needed to be more organized. I then heard Chad tell Chase to mind his own business! I just laughed to myself and kept cleaning. Later that night when the boys were sleeping I went into the closet to get clothes out for the next morning. This is what I found!

I will let you decide who won the match! I laughed so hard that I went and made Jason get out of bed to see it. These photos perfectly match the boys' personalities.

Claire's Drama Club

Claire is the in the 3rd grade Drama Club. They performed last night. It was a super cute musical called Goin' Buggy. Claire was a butterfly and was very cute! Katie came down to see the play on Wednesday but was denied due to inclement weather! Stinkin' tornado watch! She was able to see a tape of it the library! Here's a few photos of our favorite butterfly and those there to watch her. I'm still working on the video and hope to post it soon.

Hello! Welcome to our blog!

Hello! I decided to start this blog to help me with getting pictures out to the family! I'm not always great at remembering to send pictures. I hope this will make it easier for everyone to see what is going on with our family. Now if I'll just remember to post pictures on here!!

I'll start with the most recent pictures taken on the whole family. These are obviously from Christmas! We had a great time with the Johnsons - their first Georgia Christmas.
